WeiJunLi 2017-03-05 06:51:54
has no effect?
alkisg 2017-03-05 06:53:14
Because it's in use
alkisg 2017-03-05 06:54:24
Like, you boot a pc from the hard disk, and then remove the disk while it's running. How is it supposed to work after that?!
pavlos 2017-03-05 06:55:27
qeasdaqwes, do you mean, command | pastebinit
mahakal 2017-03-05 06:55:28

WeiJunLi 2017-03-05 06:55:51

alkisg 2017-03-05 06:56:02

WeiJunLi: is it still that VM that was messed days ago?
alkisg 2017-03-05 06:58:41
WeiJunLi: that's not a regular linux command line, with all the panic_on_warn=1 etc there, why do you have such a weird command line?
qeasdaqwes 2017-03-05 06:59:01
pavlos: yes, ty
WeiJunLi 2017-03-05 07:00:16
k1l_: no, i wasn't having this issue, only happened after a reboot
WeiJunLi 2017-03-05 07:00:34
alkisg: this vm is used for fuzzing and the fuzzer has that kind of qemu settings
alkisg 2017-03-05 07:01:08
WeiJunLi: did the fsck report that it fixed all the errors? Because I see it still has errors.

evg_: go to system settings and turn that off?
alkisg 2017-03-05 07:03:12
WeiJunLi: also, if it's a qemu vm, you can fsck it outside of the vm
WeiJunLi 2017-03-05 07:03:30
alkisg: I did outside the mv
WeiJunLi 2017-03-05 07:03:30

I can't accept files over bluetooth on my Ubuntu 16.10. when I try to send from my phone to the Ubuntu PC, it just flashes "Getting file FILENAME..." notification and that's all. after notification flashes, nothing is happening except the message on my phone telling that connection was lost
WeiJunLi 2017-03-05 07:08:00
alkisg: it's just ext4
alkisg 2017-03-05 07:10:06
WeiJunLi: well, just run sudo fsck -f /path/to/that.ext4 when the VM is closed
WeiJunLi 2017-03-05 07:12:19
alkisg: do you mean /dev/sda1
WeiJunLi 2017-03-05 07:12:20
?
alkisg 2017-03-05 07:12:38
WeiJunLi: according to what you say, there is no /dev/sda1, the device is not partitioned
alkisg 2017-03-05 07:12:43
There's only /dev/sda
alkisg 2017-03-05 07:13:07
And outside the VM you have a single file, /path/to/your-vm.img
alkisg 2017-03-05 07:13:18
Anyway, gotta go, good luck
WeiJunLi 2017-03-05 07:14:18
Well I do have /dev/sda1

elias_a_ 2017-03-05 07:18:10
lurklord: Or you can compile your own one.

I'm going to switch to ubuntu because I'm planning to use amdgpu-pro

how are all
lurklord 2017-03-05 07:20:05
But I also need a kernel that is recent enough and custom so I can use amdgpu too.
k1l_ 2017-03-05 07:20:22
lurklord: every ubuntu release has its on linux kernel version and stays on that. ubuntu supports amdgpu since 16.04
