OerHeks 2017-03-06 12:53:17
HelloUbuntu, no, maybe it is a setting in systemsettings now?
nacc 2017-03-06 12:53:55
kangaroo73: http://paste.ubuntu.com/24127761/ is what it should look like
HelloUbuntu 2017-03-06 12:53:56
OerHeks: i didn't find any
nacc 2017-03-06 12:54:37
kangaroo73: with tabs as appropriate for clarity
nacc 2017-03-06 12:55:03
kangaroo73: do you follow the difference?
kangaroo73 2017-03-06 12:55:03
okay ...
kangaroo73 2017-03-06 12:55:16

nacc 2017-03-06 12:57:02

nacc 2017-03-06 13:00:44
kangaroo73: i just edited the page to make it a lot clearer -- can you refresh and see if it is clearer?
kangaroo73 2017-03-06 13:01:54
that's okay ... thanks
nacc 2017-03-06 13:02:19
kangaroo73: does that mean it's clearer now?
kangaroo73 2017-03-06 13:02:25
yiha
kangaroo73 2017-03-06 13:02:42
that was a big mistake by me, nacc
nacc 2017-03-06 13:02:57
kangaroo73: that's what i was getting so frustrated myself, as it seemed very clear to me
nacc 2017-03-06 13:03:08
but the font is not very distinguished and i think the indent helps a lot
kangaroo73 2017-03-06 13:08:16
hmmm
kangaroo73 2017-03-06 13:08:25
the old problem
kangaroo73 2017-03-06 13:08:25
my Windows-10-Guest gets no IPv4-Address
kangaroo73 2017-03-06 13:09:27
nacc: is there a special kvm-network-config?
kangaroo73 2017-03-06 13:09:47
I've selected br0 as source, and virtio as model
nacc 2017-03-06 13:10:07
kangaroo73: i would first see if an ubuntu guest gets an ip addreess to make sure it's all working
kangaroo73 2017-03-06 13:10:29
yep - I can log in to ssh and ping external addresses
kangaroo73 2017-03-06 13:10:47
oh wait
kangaroo73 2017-03-06 13:10:49
an guest?
nacc 2017-03-06 13:10:54
kangaroo73: yes
kangaroo73 2017-03-06 13:11:06
I only have one guest "w10"
kangaroo73 2017-03-06 13:11:10
hmm
Zythyr 2017-03-06 13:11:11
Need help. I want to display my desired image file in full screen mode. I prefered display file format is SVG. How can I display it in full screen mode. I used Fbi (framebuffer image viewer). However it doesn't seem to respect the viewBox paramters of the SVG file.
kangaroo73 2017-03-06 13:11:35
I can set one up
kangaroo73 2017-03-06 13:11:39
but not today
kangaroo73 2017-03-06 13:11:57
Let me say thank you again for your great help
kangaroo73 2017-03-06 13:19:37
I can't remember of this message: Libvirt did not detect any UEFI/OVMF firmware image installed on the host." before ...
kangaroo73 2017-03-06 13:25:29
got it ;-)
nacc 2017-03-06 13:37:36
kangaroo73: you must have configured the guest to use spice
hdon 2017-03-06 13:37:44
hi all :) why when i autoremove a bunch of older kernels does grub reinstall between every kernel? :C :C :C
kangaroo73 2017-03-06 13:39:00
ok - and before I could select in cpu "host-passthrough" isn't it available anymore?
nacc 2017-03-06 13:39:34
hdon: because each package removal is its own step
nacc 2017-03-06 13:39:46
hdon: it is not 'reinstall'ing grub, it's just updating the config
nacc 2017-03-06 13:39:51
kangaroo73: i don't know
kangaroo73 2017-03-06 13:39:58
or is it now "host-model"
kangaroo73 2017-03-06 13:40:02
sounds similar ..
hdon 2017-03-06 13:42:39
nacc, it's not doing grub-install? it really better be. i want grub to give me the list of kernels i actually have installed
hdon 2017-03-06 13:43:11
but i would prefer if it waited until after all the kernel packages were done being removed/installed
OerHeks 2017-03-06 13:43:26
hdon, the tool rescans your kernels, and removes one at the time
OerHeks 2017-03-06 13:43:33
just be patient
dar_ 2017-03-06 13:43:37
on an upgrade to Ubuntu_16.04, it froze at 3/4 install. after about 1:30 hours I did a hard re-boot! now 16.04 only starts IN Terminal, no desktop :( How can I fix this ???
OerHeks 2017-03-06 13:44:23
dartry: Sudo dpkg --configure -a ### and after that: run update -f
OerHeks 2017-03-06 13:44:30
dar_, ^^
dar_ 2017-03-06 13:44:42
yes
