scottjl 2017-03-07 08:19:33
you're welcome
wenxs 2017-03-07 08:19:35
I usually use the apt-cache search option
scottjl 2017-03-07 08:19:47
man -k is less keystrokes ;-)
wenxs 2017-03-07 08:20:11
I type that automatically
wenxs 2017-03-07 08:20:24
it's like "apt install" instead of "apt-get install"
wenxs 2017-03-07 08:20:32
i can't avoid typing the "-get"...
geekb4ck_ 2017-03-07 08:20:56
having trouble getting socat to play nice. i need to write a string to a unixsocket and get the response back. I'm trying to use "echo help |socat - UNIX-CONNECT:/app/daemon.sock" but im not getting anything back. the man page is rather 'complex'.
